Professional development resources include tuition reimbursement, training workshops and The Learning Center, which features a multimedia library and professional skill seminars. Professional development programs fall into four main areas:

• The Blue Chip Series – a complete, state-of-the-art training course that delivers strategic marketing, underwriting and business fundamentals through a combination of classroom instruction, facilitated self-study and interactive multi-media resources.
• Career Development School – designed to give outstanding new professionals the privilege of working firsthand with peers and key home-office partners in interactive sessions designed to enhance their practices. The school fosters the development of peer study groups and assists in resource sharing among professionals from across the country.
• MassMutual University – the university takes web training to a whole new dimension that allows you 24-7 access to a wealth of resources, including global media publications, the national library and other financial services professionals across the country – in a totally virtual community.
• Continuing Education/Professional Advancement – we believe that life-long learning promotes and enhances the highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct. Our courses have continuing-education-approved credits for all states and support the attainment of industry designations such as Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®).
