Background
Joining Financial Architects was a little like coming home. Early in his career, David was a successful Sales Agent then Sales Manager with Prudential Insurance. After ten years, David changed careers and spent the next decade in the building products industry. “I have always been good at identifying opportunities, leveraging relationships, and proactively seeing changes in the market. My decision to join Financial Architects was ultimately borne out of an affinity for the business and my ability to get results with and through people.”
This natural affinity for building relationships is a good prerequisite for the role he now fills at Financial Architects. As Agency Brokerage Director, David is responsible for developing relationships with other financial services professionals and introducing them to the full range of products and services offered by the firm. “My job is to communicate the benefits of doing business with Financial Architects and Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company (MassMutual),” explains David. “My clients are other financial service professionals, who by virtue of knowing what Financial Architects and MassMutual do, are better able to serve their clients. I am a gateway and conduit to MassMutual products and services.”
Philosophy
“My philosophy is that the more successful I make my clients, the more successful I am. I take pride in providing other financial services professionals with accurate and up-to-date information enabling them to serve their clients more effectively.” David adds that he’s always been good at asking the tough questions that need to be asked in order to facilitate good decision making and recommendations—getting to the heart of the matter. “I am knowledgeable of life insurance solutions and how to apply them to each individual client’s needs.”
What distinguishes David and his services are the holistic approach he takes in evaluating strategies for clients and formulating recommendations. “To be successful for clients, one cannot be product focused. It’s about the total solution, educating financial services professionals on the fine points and understanding the mindset of the end customer,” explains David. “Good quality solutions make our financial advisor clients more successful and effective in the long run.”
