Background

John can literally say he’s been with Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company (MassMutual) nearly his entire professional life. After a seven-year stint with a large financial services firm, he joined the Buffalo office of MassMutual and for the next twenty-plus years served as a financial services professional. In February of 2011, he transferred to the Williamsville office, a satellite of the Rochester- based Financial Architects, where he now serves clients in Rochester and Buffalo.

“I was introduced to the business at an early age by a well-respected friend who had had a long and successful career in financial services,” adds John in explaining what would become an important career- defining moment. “I found I was good at working with clients and helping protect their families, hence the reason I’ve stayed so long.”

Philosophy

“My philosophy is that though it may be uncomfortable for the client, I need to ask the difficult questions in order to assist clients in designing practical recommendations essential to addressing their financial and insurance needs.” For John, the nearly three decades of experience in financial services are his portable equity. “I take pride in helping clients make their finances “bullet proof.” I know how to look at and evaluate the risks associated with their portfolios and lifestyle.”

What distinguishes John is his long history of working with clients to help ensure proper portfolio diversification* and management. “I believe that preretirement planning is a real strength I bring. Throughout my career, I have been particularly effective at teaching other financial services professionals the fine points of designing investment portfolios, as well as working successfully with my own client base.”

Personal and Professional Affiliations

In his spare time, John enjoys golf, skiing, boating and concerts. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Kenmore and Millennium Masonic Lodge, as well as Buffalo Niagara Sales and Marketing Executives club. He and wife reside in Getzville, New York.
