Background

A degree in economics and an uncertain future were the drivers behind Kyle’s decision to make a career in financial services. “My bachelors degree in Economics and Business Strategies from the University of Rochester was not the career driver I’d hope it would be, so I began pursuing opportunities that built on my educational training and natural skills in strategizing and working with people,” explains Kyle. “It was really my internship at Financial Architects that helped me solidify my overall goal and direction.”

Philosophy

For Kyle, treating people well and building trust over time are important in serving clients. “I am fortunate to be able to say that a positive thing came from a misfortune in my family. Seeing firsthand the impact of failing to prepare really galvanized my commitment to the work I do today,” adds Kyle. Mitigating risk and helping clients protect what matters most are vitally important. “I believe that young professionals represent a prime opportunity in the market as they need to know and understand the importance of strategizing for the future.”

“I believe I bring a unique skill set to the job. For example, I am knowledgeable of insurance policies offered through professional associations like the American Dental Association. I can evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of their offerings and identify weaknesses in coverage,” added Kyle in explaining how this skill can be of value to people from almost any professional discipline.

What distinguishes Kyle from other financial service professionals are his values. “My personal experience where I’ve seen families fail to plan helps me be a better trusted financial services professional. My approach is always to have a comprehensive conversation with clients to really understand their goals and objectives before presenting a solution.”

Kyle’s ideal client can come from any walk of life. The common denominator, however, is seriousness of purpose and a willingness to listen. “I am good at offering intelligent solutions to client concerns without breaking the budget. It’s important to meet clients where they’re at—filtering and translating are essential core skills.” One market Kyle is well equipped to serve is the dental market, particularly recent graduates from dental school.

Kyle is a resident of the City of Rochester and enjoys volunteering his time at University of Rochester Alumni events in his downtime.
