SpecialCare℠ from Financial Architects
Learn more about SpecialCare℠ planning for a loved one with special needs
The SpecialCare℠ program can help you develop a life care plan—a coordinated program of future care planning, financial and legal strategies for a loved one who has a disability or special needs.
Most families of children with special needs don’t know where to turn for answers to many of the most important questions they face in caring for their families.
Questions like:
- Who is going to care for my child when we are no longer here?
- Where will my child live after I am gone or when my child reaches adulthood?
- Where will my child’s health insurance come from?
- What will my child do for supplemental income?
- Who will be responsible for my child’s financial affairs?
Developing a formalized plan can be overwhelming when you don’t know where to start. At Financial Architects we can help guide you on answering these critical issues with our exclusive SpecialCare℠ Program. Our SpecialCare℠ Program coordinates future care planning, financial strategies and approaches, and legal strategies for people with disabilities and their families.
At Financial Architects, we understand that the issues of caring for a child or family member with special needs can extend into many areas, including earning and supplementing an income, creating a safe and accessible living environment, fulfilling special equipment needs, obtaining the extra help needed to get an education, and/or maintaining or increasing personal independence. All of these issues must be taken into consideration in planning for the future of your loved one.
Financial Architects has an exclusive team of Special Care Planners who thoroughly understand and has access to professionals with knowledge of the intricacies of tax law, trust law and government programs that impact the care of the person with a disability.
