Financial Services Professional
For Anastasia, following your heart has always been an important driver in her personal and professional life. After many years in the wireless industry as a divisional manager and a number of years before that as an operations manager for a weight loss company, she decided it was time for a change and change she did! She relocated to Rochester, got involved with the ARC of Monroe County and began exploring ways to follow her heart, all of which led her to a career at Financial Architects.
"I have always subscribed to the belief that all things being equal, people will do business with, and refer business to, those people they know, like and trust," said Anastasia in describing her client service philosophy. For Anastasia, trust is a key component in any relationship and an essential component of working effectively with special needs clients. "Two of my closest lifelong friends have children with special needs. I’ve seen firsthand the joys and challenges these parents face on a daily basis."
What makes Anastasia stand out from other financial service professionals is her in-depth understanding of the market coupled with her compassion and empathy for people. "In Monroe County, there are approximately 80,000 families caring for a loved one with special needs," adds Anastasia in describing the future value of her services. Anastasia takes a unique approach in serving this market. "My focus is on working with them at the family level. My approach begins with the individual with special needs and gradually encompasses the entire family and professional caregivers."
Anastasia also reaches out to companies and their employee assistance programs (EAP). "I work with companies and their EAP programs, so that when employees caring for loved ones with special needs need somewhere to turn, their EAP programs are able to make effective referrals," said Anastasia. "In addition, I am knowledgeable of the value and importance of insurance products for juveniles." Anastasia’s ideal client is a family with special needs children or anyone who has someone or something in their life that they want to protect.
Anastasia is an officer of the board of directors of the ARC Foundation of Monroe County, a member of Pastoral Council at St. Thomas More church and on the steering committee of WXXI's Speaking of Women’s Health Conference. She is a member of the Financial Planning Association.
Anastasia lives in Brighton.
