Background

Thirteen years helping small business clients achieve their goals laid a good foundation for the job Nicholle holds today. Before joining Financial Architects, Nicholle worked for four years at a large payroll processing company helping clients create retirement and employee benefit plans. “This was a great experience as it enabled me to develop professionally and laid the groundwork for the work I do today in insurance,” explains Nicholle in describing the evolution of her career. “I firmly believe that every experience professionally adds value. For example, earlier in my career I worked in media and marketing—fields that provided me with a wealth of contacts.”

Philosophy

“Making clients feel comfortable and open to sharing is the most important aspect of any financial professional’s job. I have always believed that being sincere and real puts clients at ease, makes them more comfortable sharing information and leads to more successful long-term relationships,” adds Nicholle.

“My strength is my unique ability to ask smart questions, working well with other trusted professionals, including CPAs and attorneys.” For Nicholle, being a resource and destination for client questions is important. “I know in working with clients from all walks of life that most people don’t have what they need in savings or don’t have their insurance house in perfect order; I am not here to judge…rather to help, facilitate and educate,” says Nicholle enthusiastically. “That’s my job.” As result, Nicholle points with some pride to the fact that her work professionally never “seems like a job as she enjoys being of service to clients.”

Nicholle’s ideal client is an individual, family or business owner who looks at protecting what matters most not just from an immediate family perspective, but from an extended family perspective. “I believe in looking at the big picture. Ideally, I tend to work best with 30-50 year olds, but I’ve been able to apply successfully my knowledge of the small business market to entrepreneurs.” Unique to Nicholle is the success she’s had in working with established professional service providers like contractors and veterinarians. “I believe I am ahead of the curve in understanding the small business market because I worked it for so many years in an earlier life.”

Professionally speaking, Nicholle is a member of the Young Advisors Team. A resident of Webster, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and caring for and riding her horse.
