Background

A lifelong interest in personal finance and economics served as the primer that led Jessica to a career in financial services. “My interest really grew while in college. A friend of mine used to talk to me about his ‘transformation’ regarding his career in the field. That really piqued my curiosity and when a family member introduced me to the firm, it was a good fit,” explains Jessica in characterizing what led her to the position she now holds.

Philosophy

“My college work experience in customer care taught me the value of being accessible and responsive. I’ve always operated from the premise that ‘being only a phone call away’ was crucial to success in financial services and insurance.” Today, Jessica works with a variety of clients individually and in partnership with one of the firm’s most experienced and tenured representatives. “I consider it a privilege and an honor to be entrusted with so many long-standing relationships and the opportunity to earn the trust of clients, which leads to referrals,” adds Jessica.

For Jessica, her commitment to clients old and new is best exemplified by her personal commitment to being in the business for the long haul. “I want to be that one single point of contact for clients…that trusted professional who can be counted on to be honest and real; integrity is vitally important to me and our business.” Given her knowledge and skills, Jessica can be an important gateway and conduit to various financial services clients may not even know they need.

Young families and early-career professionals are an important segment of Jessica’s market. “While I’ve worked well with people from all walks of life, I believe I am particularly effective with young families—people who are just having kids or getting started professionally. In addition, I am excited to be learning and developing a following in the small business market and learning the fine points of disability income protection insurance—one of the most important financial products young professionals may wish to consider.”

When she’s not working, Jessica volunteers at Harbor House, an organization that provides invaluable support to families needing temporary lodging during health emergencies. She is also very involved as an alumna of St. John Fisher College. Professionally speaking, as a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors/Rochester Area Insurance and Financial Advisors, Jessica is active on their Young Advisors Team. Jessica lives in Fairport.
